Ylva Liljefors

www.ylvaliljefors.net

I was living the opposite of the street of this designer's showroom, passing there everyday. And sometimes see the light is on at very late evening.

With curious, i stoped outside the window few times and try to look at inside through a glass which sticked the black wild flowers to keep the privacy from outside, but you can still see a line of samples hanged next to hall and the iner setting of office.

There was nothing indicate outside about the designer or anything, but a bunch of dry rose and a square photo frame(sometimes pair of shoes or tiny bag) dispalyed between the double layer glasses.

I hit the web by chance ! From my reading through the webpage, the designer is now hired by Tiger of Sweden.

Give Me Some Shoulder Action! ---quoted

Give Me Some Shoulder Action!
Whether built up, dropped, structured, hugged, or bared... it was upon the shoulder that the allure of many of this season's freshest looks rested...

By Stephanie Micci

Whether built-up, dropped, structured, hugged, or bared . . . it was upon the shoulder that the allure of many of this season’s freshest looks rested. From the house of Balmain to the newly appointed creative director, Esteban Cortazar, at Emmanuel Ungaro; designers were manipulating the shoulder region to seduce, tantalize, and delight editors, buyers, and consumers alike.

The subdued version of the 80s power shoulder sauntered down the runway at Balmain, appropriately adorned with crystal encrusted ephilets. The strong shoulder, characteristic of the menswear-tailoring trend currently appearing on catwalks from New York to Paris, was accentuated by the Rock Chic twist that Balmain lent it.

While at the opposite end of the shoulder slope, Ungaro presented the fluid asymmetric one-shoulder look that carried over from the spring/summer shows. Sexually suggestive and ultra feminine, its “come hither” vibe was beautifully executed by the young Esteban Cortazar in his first outing on the Parisian catwalks.

Ultimately if you want to give someone the cold shoulder, crystal encrusted of course, or just bare all . . . but one of your shoulders, you will have no shortage of stylish options to chose from this fall.

Perfume -research

I was not a big fan of perfume honestly. But one morning,Ferrara tell me that i smell great after i have used Freshness toning water ,it was a light floral smell. And somehow strangely ,i feel good to wear it too. That have been changed my idea of the perfume, then i have been searched alot about it.Before that, all my knowledge about perfume is the movie PARFUME:the story of a murderer.

Daddy often wear CK or BOSS,i think he still have his bottom somewhere in the bathroom :)

However,I think i would probably go Estee lauder if i'll purchase perfume for my self, and i have found some interesting one of following on their's web which i will probably go the shop and test on my skin in the near future.

Milena Canonero

Born in Turin, in northern Italy; studied art, design history and costume design in Genoa before moving to England. She soon began working in small theatre and film productions. As a stylist designing commercials in London, she had the opportunity to meet many film directors including Hugh Hudson. Then, while visiting the set of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, she met Stanley Kubrick. After assisting Kubrick in various positions including researching and dubbing films, he offered Canonero her first job as a costume designer. His trust was justified when she created the witty, shattering, futuristic clothes for A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (1971).

Stanley Kubrick's next project was Thackeray's 18th century epic novel BARRY LYNDON. Showcasing the lyrical candlelit cinematography of John Alcott and beautiful locations and sets designed by Ken Adam, Canonero's work in this movie is a tour de force. The magnificent costumes in BARRY LYNDON are widely recognized in the field of costume design as the penultimate in the state of the art and craft. For this achievement she was honored with her first Academy Award for Best Costume Design in 1975.

Hugh Hudson called on Canonero to design CHARIOTS OF FIRE, a modest story of two English athletes set in the early 1920's. Her brilliant costume work helped this film transcend the ordinary. In 1981, she won her second Oscar in Costume Design.

She has been nominated five more times for an Oscar. Each film carries Canonero's inimitable signature, inventive artistry, sharp intelligence and an unwillingness to settle for less than perfection on every level. Her costume designs for OUT OF AFRICA and Frances Ford Coppola's THE COTTON CLUB (1984) inspired enduring world fashion trends. Canonero bravely and effectively used wild primary comic strip color to pop DICK TRACY off the screen.

BULWORTH, SINGLE WHITE FEMALE, THE GODFATHER, PART III, THE SHINING, DAMAGE and THE HUNGER allowed Canonero to employ her powerful ability to create tremendous style and substance for both leading and supporting characters.

Canonero has been married for many years to actor Marshall Bell and lives in Los Angeles. She was awarded the 2001 Career Achievement Award in Film by the Costume Designers Guild.

Costume

I think i have mentioned somewhere that i really interested in the costume, and i do however learn very hard right now, reading and remembering everyday litttle by little.Whatever i learn,i have my own conditions:

I am not a pop chaser, but if there is something really nice,i don't reject it just because it's pop.I believe the key is the match, how do you match the style, color, make up,hair, shoes etc...

Of course,i dislike the big logo, even the small one sometimes get a rejection when it's not cut-able,what i do like is that you are well dressed, when people see/think you are elegant is not just because they see the brand,it's because you really looked glamour with the clothes you wear.I often cut off the labels too after i buy something new,one thing is because my skin get itching with those poly ,rayon, metalic labels;another thing is that the labels usually have no stretch, when the cloth is very softe, skinny,or stretchy, the labels pull it sometimes,or make it un-smooth.

Somehow I enjoy find chic piece here and there for reasonable price very well,at here where i live,we are a big city fcty for many of the big brands all the world,so you can find some discounted defect ones, leftover, excess of nice dresses, pop top in the small bontiques. But still sometime, when i find something nice,i ll buy it anyway,i mean who cares!!!

I had three lovely baby rabbit when i was a little girl ,i fond them in the mountain in a pour day when i go to search mushroom in the spring,i feed them rice and vegetables, but they seems not happy with it,two died later and one run away.Anyway, that makes me dislike the real fur.

I am no fan of idol nor brand ,i like everything that's nice.Plus i have to admit when it's somethns nice but in the simple and intricacy way,i prefer the prior one. This has something to do with my Daddy whom have strongly affect me alot about construction.

And last but not least ,i choose color pattern very carefully.Usually,I found the solid ones is more interesting, but chic print is totally acceptable.
